NEW THOUGHT - Let's make this a proper challenge. Carpix will donate $100 and some sort of trophy to anybody who can beat our time (in any car). It sounds easy - and for your information the route is only a 3.5/4 hour drive from L.A. If you seriously want to challenge us email <videos@carppix.net>. We will record your attempt. Know this - You will be 60 miles from the nearest hospital, gas or even water! However, anything in the supercar league should be able to set a new record. Cops are your problem!
 
 
OK Guys - This is a public road, it has dips and gradients - it has a very worn surface. We are using someone else's car and we don't want to kill ourselves. If you want to put your yourselves on the line - Great; Step Up! If you think you can set a definitive time. Fantastic - we will record and film you! Email - videos@carpix.net - we will respect you if you try it! Otherwise, shut the f*ck up! and respect the people who are trying to entertain you (for free goddammit!).
